In the last year I have been seeing more and more content show up on my social media about a new magazine. The new magazine Darling, “aims to redefine femininity and beauty through thought-provoking and counter-cultural perspectives. Our goal is to inspire, revive, and restore women by helping them find their true purpose and worth.” At first, I kept scrolling by the advertisements. However, after seeing a few I was very intrigued in the concept. I can’t remember the last time I read a magazine, but if I had the money I would buy this one. The video above was on my Facebook page the other day and really resonated with me and I wanted to find the source. It took me back to this magazine and I can honestly say that I would stand behind what this magazine stands for. Their posts are focused not only on perfection or beauty standards, but actually breaking down those standards and talking about women on a personal level, something we can all relate to. I highly recommend watching this video, but even more I recommend following their social media accounts or even buying the magazine!
I really like the video here! I've never thought of the average person editing their pictures to put on social media because as a guy, I think I just throw whatever picture I like up on Instagram. Very good perspective here.
