ONU Homecoming Tent Live Tweet!

One thing I love about Ohio Northern University, is the group of alumni we have. They are loyal, strong, gracious and they are always willing to help out those who are currently at the school or once went there. To show our appreciation for them, we host many ONU alum for Homecoming weekend. One way I was a part of the weekend was working the Arts & Sciences Homecoming tent table. I got to learn more about our new dean, converse with alumni, hear great stories and interact with many people in ONU’s history.
I also got to live tweet about this event and had a blast covering the event. It was a great way to really capture unique moments of the event and share them with others. Our dean, Dr. Holly Baumgartner is very active on Twitter and so we got to interact not only face to face, but on social media as well. It was a great way to start understanding live tweeting while and event was happening. Sometimes it felt awkward to be on my phone so much, but letting the dean know what I was doing helped to get more images to better explain the event going on.
